
Mary Hager grew up in Milton, Massechusetts, moved to Golden, Colorado, in the sixties and then to Montrose in 2004. She has painted most of her adult life using various media: watercolor, pastel, and acrylic. She loves to attend painting workshops and has participated in many, including several in France and Mexico. Here on the Western Slope she has participated in art shows in Glenwood Springs, Palisades, and Montrose, and has received awards in all of them. She is an active member of the Montrose Visual Arts Guild.
